Green Gates Bee Keeping
The bees have arrived!
Green Gates Academy have obtained some bees which we will be looking after as a school as part of our school curriculum.
Bees help produce three-quarters of our most vital crops. But they’re under threat. At Green Gates Academy we wish to support the environment by introducing bees to Green Gates as part of our curriculum.
Our Bee Keeper – Mr Tony Steinberg will be leading on this project. Great care has been taken to ensure that the health and safety of the children, the staff and the bees has been taken into account.
Willow group have been outside in our woodland area attending to the bees.
